Meet DreamLawn’s New Lawn Production Manager

Homegrown Experience, Healthier Omaha Lawns

A summer job was supposed to fill the season. Instead, it shaped Aaron’s career. In 2013, fresh out of college, Aaron entered Nebraska’s green industry looking for seasonal work. What he found was a profession that combined hard work, problem-solving, outdoor spaces, and the satisfaction of watching steady progress take root.

“I began my green industry career as a college graduate looking for a summer job,  and it blossomed into a beautiful career” 

Today, Aaron brings more than a decade of local experience to DreamLawn as our new Omaha Production Manager. 

Omaha Roots

Aaron was born and raised in Omaha and has lived in Nebraska his entire life, apart from his college years at Peru State College. Most of his career has unfolded in Omaha and the Valley, giving him firsthand knowledge of Nebraska properties, growing conditions, and homeowner expectations. His experience spans the green industry, from hands-on fieldwork to leading crews and managing operations and logistics. Aaron worked his way up from laborer and crew member to crew lead, foreman and management roles, learning the business from the ground up. 

That perspective helps him see the full picture: how thoughtful planning, consistent care, and clear communication come together to create healthier outdoor spaces and a better customer experience. 

Every Lawn Tells a Different Story 

After years of caring for properties across the metro, Aaron has learned that even neighboring lawns can have very different needs. 

“Each lawn is different. There are unique factors for every yard in Omaha,  regardless of location.” 

Sunlight, soil conditions, irrigation, traffic, maintenance habits, and the surrounding landscape can all influence how turf responds. That is why Aaron believes the best results begin with asking questions, understanding the property, and building a care plan around the lawn rather than trying to make it match the yard next door. 

“People love their outdoor spaces in Omaha. In my experience, customers who ask questions and grow their knowledge about their lawns typically have a better  overall experience.”

That educational, personalized approach is one of the things that drew him to DreamLawn.

“What DreamLawn is working to provide feels new to the Omaha area.There are many companies in the metro that provide lawn care services, but our approach is uniquely focused on the overall health of each customer’s green space. I’m excited to bring that perspective to Omaha homeowners.” 

For Aaron, the most rewarding results are not always immediate. They are built through consistent work, clear communication, and a plan designed for lasting improvement. 

“The satisfaction of seeing a yard improve month to month and season to season is what brings me to work every day,” he said. “Putting in the work and seeing it pay  off for customers, their families and their pets makes the grind worthwhile.” 

His favorite advice for Omaha homeowners reflects that same mindset: 

“Understand that all good things take time. There are rarely instances in the green industry where instant gratification is the outcome. Trust the process, and  great things will come from it!” 

Off the Turf, All Omaha 

Aaron’s Omaha roots go well beyond work. He has spent more than 15 years coaching baseball at the youth, high school, and college levels. When he’s not on the diamond,  he’s golfing, playing guitar, or working his way through Omaha’s food scene.
